1.
Add the natural yoghurt and almond milk to a bowl or container.
2.
Add the chia seeds, hemp seeds and maca powder and stir well.
3.
And frozen berries on top.
4.
Wait 30 minutes, then enjoy. This gives time for the chia seeds to swell and create a pudding, and it allows the berries to defrost.
5.
Alternatively, you could make this the night before.
- add honey or maple syrup for a little extra sweetness if needed - frozen mixed berries are excellent for adding antioxidants and a serve of fruit. - you can go without the maca powder if you don’t have it, if you do; It adds a nice caramel flavour and traditionally, aids libido. - hemp seeds add protein here so if you don’t have hemp seeds but you do have protein powder, add that instead. Hemp seeds provide a food-based protein which means you are also getting extra fibre & omega 3 fats if you choose to add the hemp seeds. - natural yoghurt can be swapped for Greek yoghurt or coconut yogurt if dairy free (coconut yoghurt doesn’t have as much protein so you may want to consider this if swapping and add a protein powder if needed/ if you get hungry again after an hour of eating this one)
